Pond Mountain Wilderness

Managed by the US Forest Service, the Pond Mountain Wilderness is a rugged area that contains a number of streams, waterfalls, and trails. The Appalachian Trail crosses the area with beautiful views of imposing cliffs and the flowing river. The popular Laurel Fork Falls is accessible from the area.
