The Doe River flows from Roan Mountain to Elizabethton, offering abundant fishing and kayaking opportunities along the way. Happy Trails Park and Green Bridge Landing provide put-in and take-out locations for kayakers and the Doe River Fishing Trail provides public access points to over 8 miles of the Doe River for anglers of all ages.
