Carson Peters and Iron Mountain will begin the night as this nationally known talent will perform during our Covered Bridge Jams which begins at 7:00PM. Immediately following Carson Peters at 9:00PM the Elizabethton Lions Club will present a Movie in The Park that promises to be a night to remember. “We are extremely excited about this community event, said Mike Mains Parks and Recreation Director. Having the support of the Elizabethton Lions Club has made this event possible and we greatly appreciate them teaming up with us to make this event happen. The setting with the Covered Bridge in the background and the Doe River running though our park makes this event even more enjoyable.”
The Carson Peters and Iron Mountain concert along with the Movie in The Park are free to the public and will give families a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a night together. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some great concessions including pizza, popcorn and drinks to name a few. Proceeds received from concession sales will go towards Lions Club community projects.
